Our mission
To keep our customers' water systems clean, protected and efficient, with chemistry engineered for their conditions and results they can measure.

An engineering company that supplies chemistry, based in the UAE and serving the Middle East and Africa.

Chemistry engineered around your plant.
Water-treatment programmes, specialty actives and industrial chemicals for plants across the Middle East and Africa. Lower water, energy and maintenance costs, measured and reported.

Boiler, cooling, closed-loop, RO and wastewater programmes, with KPIs agreed before we start and reported every month.

Scale insulates the tube. Heat that should reach the water goes up the stack instead, the burner fires harder and the tube metal runs hotter. Drag the scale and see the fuel you pay for.

Published data stop at 1.6 mm (1/16″), or 0.8 mm for iron + silica scale. Beyond that the calculator extends the published trend and marks the result as an estimate.
A cooling tower loses water by evaporation and by blowdown. The more times the water is reused before blowdown (its cycles of concentration), the less you buy. Good chemistry is what lets you raise cycles safely.
Mass balance: make-up = E × C ÷ (C − 1); blowdown = E ÷ (C − 1). Drift ignored. Safe cycles depend on your water; we confirm them by analysis.

Every programme follows the same six steps, so you see the result in numbers you can audit.

We return a short written review with the risks we see and the programme we would propose. An engineer replies within one working day.

Filter by system, problem or industry. Every application shows the challenge, our approach and what we measure.
From finished treatment programmes to the raw actives behind them: phosphonates, polymers, biocides, coagulants and more, for water, oil & gas and industrial process. Select a family for details.
The complete phosphonate and polymer ranges, plus acids, alkalis, salts, biocides, coagulants, amines and glycols for water treatment, oil & gas, construction, food, agriculture, mining and manufacturing. Every product ships with SDS and CoA; ask us for anything not listed.
| Code | Product | CAS No. | Grades | Main use |
|---|
CAS numbers identify the active substance. Grades, assays and pack sizes (25 kg, drums, 1,000 L IBC, flexitanks and bulk) depend on the manufacturer; the TDS and SDS of each lot apply.
Check your water, see what scale costs you and size the savings. Indicative results; our engineers confirm them with a full survey.
Indicative values from typical heat-transfer data for boiler scale. Silicate scale insulates far more than carbonate.
ORAKEM designs water treatment programmes and supplies specialty and commodity chemicals to industry across the Middle East and Africa. We start from the system, not the catalogue: every recommendation is engineered, measured and reported.
Industrial water decides how efficiently a plant runs. Scale steals fuel, corrosion shortens equipment life, and biofilm and fouling stop production. Most of it is preventable when the chemistry is chosen for the real conditions of the site and controlled every day.
That is how ORAKEM works. Our engineers survey the system, analyse the water and the failure history, and design a programme with clear control limits. We supply the products direct to site with full documentation, monitor the results and report them in numbers you can audit.
Beyond treatment programmes, we supply actives and commodities, from phosphonates and polymers to acids, alkalis, biocides and coagulants, to plants, formulators and distributors who need consistent quality and reliable delivery.
To keep our customers' water systems clean, protected and efficient, with chemistry engineered for their conditions and results they can measure.
